The new characters in this book are Jeremy and Sheila. Jeremy is a visitor to Capeside. Jeremy has a lot of family troubles and looks after twin babies as a nanny.
Joey met Jeremy on the beach. They readily make friends and fell in love with each other. However, Jeremy had to return to New Hampshire. They felt sad terribly. Dowson was jealous because Joey was friendly with someone who is not him. Sheila had Dowson notice that. As a result, he was honest for his feelings. He kissed Joey.
Pacey and Jen were learning to be lifeguards. They saved a drowning girl. Pacey make real friends with Jen.
The characters always have a lot of trouble. I enjoyed reading this book. In addition, I am concerned about the continuation of this story.
