this book is short story. there are two short story. First story is"ALARM!" .Toby is Newspaper Boy.He was taking Newspaper to Mr Spry. He noticed accident. There were two thieves in a house.
Toby deceived them to catch. Second story is "THE CUTTING".A mystery man moved of number seventeen.Toby helped him. He found newspaper cutting in the desk. The cutting was about "prisoner escapes". Prisoner's name was George Elton. He was the bank robber. A mystery man was rich.Toby thought that A mystery man was George Elton. But, A mystery man was police.　His name was Geoffrey Elliot. He was caught George Elton . So he had the cutting.
